The weather is so beautiful and it's impossible to not be happy from it.
Shouldn't it always be all or nothing in life?

Patience.
Hope.

Sometimes, not being able to understand what nearby people are discussing is truly a gift.
It's been over one month since I've last had a meal in the company of another person---it's scary how that can happen so easily...

And with no Internet, tv, or other distractions (except for reading material) at home, walking around Bangkok and taking photos of stray animals is how I enjoy spending a lot of my time.

Up until now, I've mostly only been taking pictures of dogs because I'm more of a dog person. But for every street dog roaming around the city, there's also a homeless cat as well, and here are just a few of them.

"People who use social media are often aware that their estranged relatives are watching."

From the June 14, 2012 NYT article titled: In the Facebook Era, Reminds of Loss if Families Structure.
I was walking down Ekkamai the other day, and snapped these three street dogs all in the span of one block. Then when passing by later in the night, I discovered that all three of them were hanging out together.

I love their little motley crew.

I never really understood this adage until recently, but the eyes really are the windows to the soul.

"I couldn't agree more. I think most great politicians come from a little dysfunction—and people successful in life come from some of that.”

A good haircut can do so much for a guy.

The weather sure is beautiful today, and I could just stare into the clouds for hours. It's days like these that make me so grateful to be here.

Since the Internet service in my building is so bad, I decided to start going without it about a week or two ago. Disconnecting myself from the world even further is something that's starting to feel more natural to me with time.
Be present where you are.

The only regular basis of physical contact I get nowadays seems to be from riding motorcycle taxis.

Happy Birthday, Anne Frank.

"In recent years, psychologists have studied the relationship between persistence and creative achievement. They've discovered that the ability to stick with it---the technical name for this trait is GRIT---is one of the most important predictors of success."

Sometimes, integrity and social networking just don't seem to go together.

People always show what you mean and who you are to them by their actions, or lack thereof.

This made me think of some sort of art installation when I recently stumbled upon it while walking around the city.

The entire thing just seemed so out-of-place and in a way, obtrusive.

We all have our reasons.

"Maybe the lateness of the hour...
Makes me seem bluer than I am..."

From the song Hope She'll Be Happier by Bill Withers.
Crazy people have family too.
"Be committed to communicating the truth. Don't get so caught up along the way in what you're doing and where you're going that you lose sight of your core values: who you are and what's important in your life.

And finally, remember this: Whenever you're in doubt: PAUSE---take a moment. Look at your options---check your intentions---and THEN? Take the high road."
