It's New Years Eve!

And I'm so excited to start the new year in a new city with old friends.

Happy 2013 here from Los Angeles.

"Don't let it go away,
This feeling has got to stay."

From the song, New, by No Doubt.
I believe.

I need to go on a fun date.
I've been in L.A. for over a week now, but it still feels a bit odd being here.

I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm back in America after more than two-and-a-half years of being away, or that I'm in the land of driving and cars in sunny California---but it's been difficult to get a sense of my new surroundings.

However, one thing that's been great is the fact that I'm living with my good friends Jenn and Daniel again. They're the same friends I was living with back in NYC when I left for Asia a few years ago, and the last time I saw them was when they came to visit me in Seoul (HERE). Moving in with them here in L.A. has also been great because of their dog, Madden, so it's nice to sort of feel like I've come full circle in a way.

It was inevitable that it would happen, but there are definitely a lot of things I've been reminiscing about lately when it comes to Thailand.

While I rarely post videos, here is one that I took on my last Friday in Bangkok some weeks ago. (Please watch the video in HD whenever possible).

Ahh, Thailand---I miss you already.

Where in the the world am I??

L.A. seems like it might be tougher than Bangkok to adjust to...

Good morning, Los Angeles!

Please be kind to me.

Korea has been a blast.

Meeting up with friends and familiar faces here in Seoul has really recharged me after what felt like such a long stint of seclusion in Thailand. I can't thank enough all the people who made the time to hang out with me here---I'll never forget this trip.

And for some other exciting news---after more than two-and-a-half years away, I'm finally returning to America tomorrow! I am so ecstatic to go back to my country, and am especially looking forward to being immersed in a language that I 100% speak and understand. U-S-A! U-S-A!
