have you ever just stared at a completely empty and quiet street in the middle of the night for a really long time? the colors on the stoplight continually change between red, green and yellow but everything else is just there, pointless without the touch of human use---just like my heart.
I think I did many times.

I sat there once at 4:30 am and gazed at the empty street.
