sometimes when i'm walking around bangkok, people will blatantly look at me and start laughing for some reason. it happens pretty often and it has, at moments, made me wonder if there's something wrong with me or perhaps i appear to be dressed too weird. but then, i look around and am able to remind myself that there are of wayyy more ridiculously dressed people around here than me so fuck that. it doesn't matter where you're from or how much money you have, bad taste is bad taste and its visual rules are universal.

If a stranger laughs at you for no apparent reason, I think it is safe to assume that he is the one who is "odd".
