Hello! I just found your blog through the Born This Way blog. Good stuff both here and there! :) And congrats on coming out to your family recently! My boyfriend is Korean and, knowing how his parents are, I can only imagine what it must've been like for you to come out to your family. Not that having a Korean boyfriend makes me an expert or anything. After all, I'm straight and his parents barely accept me. But then I'm also white, so it goes both ways I suppose. Also, I read in a previous entry that you lived in Anchorage for a time. I was born and lived there until I was three when my family moved back to Houston, TX. You should write more about your experiences there sometime. "Ex-residents of Alaska" is kind of an elite club, after all. ;) Anyway, keep up the great writing!
